Born of women needing women, both as mentor and muse, 100 plus women have gathered for five years across the country to share, advise, listen, celebrate and grow together. From these gatherings we have emerged with a hearty sense of the auspicious field of work we choose and a commitment to gathering yearly to reconnect and rejuvenate.
This year the tradition continues at the Pacific Crest Outward Bound School for the conference?s last year in the Northwest. Every two years the conference is hosted in another region of the country in order to reach as many women as possible. For our second and final year as host, the Women?s Outdoor Leadership Conference hopes to bring together diverse outdoor and experiential educators from across the country to connect with each other, and the dramatic landscapes of the Northwest.
Editor's note: I went to this last year- very good info for outdoor leaders, excellent slide shows, and best of all very friendly chicks to hang out with! :)
