Event kicks off Friday evening with Sir Chris Bonington as featured speaker. A free MountainFair trade show will run all day Saturday and include the speakers Gordon Wiltsie and Jack Tackle, and a panel discussion on climbing access issues. Saturday evening's featured speakers will be Conrad Anker, Jimmy Chin and Rick Ridgeway, describing their search with Galen Rowell for the birthing grounds of the chiru, an endangered Tibetan antelope. Event is not for profit, with proceeds to benefit local Search and Rescue.
