This course is for you if you have never climbed before - whether you’ve always wanted climb or you’re afraid of heights and thought you’d never try. In this one day workshop, you will learn some basic climbing skills including safety considerations, how to put on a harness, tie several essential knots and be the safety person for another climber. You will also get a chance to rappel. A highlight of the day includes learning movement techniques that use your strengths as a female to climb smoothly and with less effort. Surrounded by supportive women, this is a great introduction to climbing in an encouraging environment.
